Alon is the General Partner and Founder of RE Angels, a specialized angel fund focused on investing in early-stage real estate technology startups. RE Angels is uniquely composed of seasoned real estate professionals who bring deep industry expertise, positioning the fund as a strategic partner to founders at the intersection of real estate and technology. Beyond RE Angels, Alon actively manages several multifamily portfolios across the Southeast (FL, NC & VA), demonstrating a keen ability to balance operational management with strategic investing. Alon was previously the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of DTI Holdings, a vertically-integrated private equity real estate fund established in 2017. DTI Holdings successfully acquired and managed residential multifamily (Class B & C) and commercial properties, achieving a remarkable 22% IRR before its divestment in 2021.

Before founding DTI Holdings, Alon served as a Senior Investment Manager at MIO Partners, McKinsey & Company’s Investment Office, where he helped launch and manage a new private equity investment vehicle, building a diversified portfolio that consistently delivered strong returns. Earlier in his career, Alon was a Strategic Consultant at McKinsey & Company, overseeing private equity engagements that included due diligence, portfolio optimization, valuation analysis, and company transformations.
