# Ayoub Fathi

Ayoub is currently working as the Group VP of Information Security and CISO for Noon Group in a mission to protect millions of customers daily across the MENA region, he joined Noon in 2017 and built up the information security program from the ground up, as a part of his role, he’s managing the security portfolio for Noon Group of companies, and scaling up the infosec department.

In his early years, Ayoub was highly active in the Whitehat ecosystem, successfully identifying 10s of vulnerabilities on Facebook and 100s others in Fortune 100 companies, he was ranked among the top 100 hackers worldwide and participated in several international hacking events where he ranked in the top 10 globally. Even a decade later, when he is not wearing his CISO executive hat or working on solving architectural security engineering challenges, he is still switching his hacker hat on and off to contribute to the cybersecurity space; most recently, he has uncovered a critical loophole on OpenAI after ChatGPT was launched.
