I built Virtual Gurus from a $300 idea at my kitchen table into a multi-million dollar company that was successfully acquired. Along the way, I became the first Indigenous woman in Canada to close a Series A and exit a tech company. 

My path wasn’t traditional. I was laid off during Alberta’s oil and gas downturn and had to rebuild from scratch. I’ve raised capital, heard “no” more times than I can count, navigated leadership failures, rebuilt culture, scaled operations, and learned what it takes to grow something successful. 

Now, as Founder of Tapwi, I am helping connect founders and emerging leaders with the knowledge, capital and skills to build, acquire, and lead.
