Colin Decker is the founder of 7 SEAZ® Premium Cannabis, one of the first ten licensed cannabis brands to launch in New York’s adult-use market and now recognized as one of the state’s top-selling legacy-to-legal brands. A career cultivator of 19+ years, Colin is widely regarded as an expert in both plant science and brand development. Prior to founding 7 SEAZ®, he created Sensei Growth Consulting, the oldest cannabis consulting agency in New York. 

Through Sensei, he has advised a broad spectrum of operators—from small family-owned grows and independent craft producers to vertically integrated multi-state operators and Fortune 500 companies worldwide. His work spans facility design, operational workflows, compliance strategy, brand identity development, product formulation, and full-market launch planning.

Colin has been hired to build, shape, and launch cannabis brands across New York State, developing everything from brand voice and storytelling to packaging systems, marketing strategy, retail activation, and long-term growth roadmaps. 

His approach ensures brands are not only compliant, but culturally resonant and commercially competitive in the evolving regulated market.

He is also the Founder and President of the New York Small Farmer Fund, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting small and independent farmers across the state.
