# Melissa Keklak

Melissa Keklak, a seasoned Talent Manager has always stood out among her peers and is known for her ability to teach her talent and lead them towards financial success to prolong their careers. 
 
In 2006, Melissa took her first steps into the industry as the Manager of Artist & Public Relations for Casio's G-Shock watches, where she quickly rose through the ranks to become Director. During her five-year tenure at Casio, she orchestrated brand initiatives and campaigns alongside renowned talent such as Kanye West, Lamar Odom, Ke$ha, Nigel Sylvester to name a few.
 
In 2012, she made the bold move to Los Angeles and founded her own Boutique PR firm, MMKpr, which represented talent and brands alike.  Some notable brands include Nike, Theotis Beasley, Dunk Champion Young Hollywood Dunks, Mountain Dew and Hurley. Her firm worked with more than 75+ artists and producers as well as spearheaded music rollouts for various Empire & Rostrum Records artists.
 
Her journey took a significant turn in 2016 when Melissa transitioned into talent management steering the careers of Compton hip hop artist Problem, Memphis sensation Blac Youngsta and working with Hurley on their athlete engagement programs. In addition to managing Blac Youngsta she was also the President of his independent label Heavy Camp. Melissa’s remarkable eye and ear for talent has positioned her to work alongside some of the most successful talent and brands.
 
Most notably, Melissa discovered Houston hip hop artist KenTheMan and was pivotal in Ken’s growth and breakout star power. Last year Melissa negotiated and solidified a recording contract for KenTheMan with the label Roc Nation; this was also the second recording contract that she secured since managing Ken. 
 
In 2023 Melissa went back to school and secured her Sports Management certification from NYU. Shortly after she quickly pivoted her focus to begin building her newest endeavor, Contact Mgmt. Keklak has always cross collaborated between music, brands and sports so it only made sense for her to build a management company that would be the intersection and home to both athletes and artists alike. Contact Mgmt. is a full-service agency that bridges the gap between talent + brands on a more personalized and bespoke level.
