🙋🏻‍♂️Hi there. I’m Milan van der Meulen, Co-founder of Soly. With hands-on experience I took companies from early startup phase to international scale-ups.

Over the past decade, I’ve built and scaled impact-driven energy businesses across multiple countries, combining bootstrapping with venture funding (Series A & B). In total, I’ve raised €50M+ from strategic and institutional investors, including Shell, while navigating the realities of fast growth.

My background spans international expansion, new business development, and building strategic partnerships with corporates such as IKEA, as well as banks, energy companies and insurers. I’ve operated at the intersection of purpose, technology and capital, and learned first-hand where growth accelerates, and where it breaks.
