# Miry Whitehill > Refugee Services Nonprofit Founder “We should all be good ancestors.” Let’s change the world together! Hello new friend, I’m Miry Whitehill, founder of Miry’s List, and I’m here to help you accomplish your goals that leave the world better for the next generation. Miry’s List is a nonprofit that supports resettling refugee families in the United States through community-powered programs rooted in healing and belonging. My work has been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, CNN, NPR, Newsweek, and Forbes. With a decade of experience in digital marketing and a marketing degree from the University of Maryland, my expertise combines community engagement and technology to create a positive impact so we can be good role models for the next generation of changemakers. Since our founding in 2016, Miry’s List has supported the resettlement experience of over 1,500 newcomer families and engaged over 280,000 American people in the fulfilling and impactful experience of welcoming new arrival refugee families. My TedX, "How To Be A Good Neighbor," has reached tens of thousands viewers, and my first book, "Our World Is A Family," sold 30,000 copies in its first year. I am in the process of publishing my 2nd book, a memoir titled “Ana Huna Means I’m Here,” as an act of self-repair after leaving a marriage, coming out, and stepping into my queerness. I lives in Los Angeles with my two children, Reuben and Sabo, and our pet tortoise, Betty. ## Offerings - Video call (15 min): $55.00 ## Links - [Expert profile](/MiryWhitehill) - [Avatar](https://media.intro.co/avatars/1369991J8NtciCP.jpg) - [Marketplace](/marketplace)
