As the former founder and CEO of OCP, a boutique private placement and PE investment firm, Priya, using her polymath skillset, built a company from the ground up into a highly successful, sought after firm- delivering impressive financial performance of £8498 EPS over a 12 year period. Priya built, managed, and ran the investment firm providing fund raising expertise, business, strategic and structuring advice and multi-channel scale-up positioning across different asset classes and distinct PE investment strategies. She from inception, multiplied the firm’s bandwidth giving the firm the ability to access the entire investor spectrum from GCC Royal Families to corporate and institutional investors. She has raised funds and led the strategic expansion into the GCC markets for several blue-chip clients. 

Priya is a structured finance and derivatives lawyer by background and training, attaining of-counsel recognition in 2010 at Clifford Chance- a magic circle law firm. She is one of the pioneers of Islamic Derivatives having been an architect of the ISDA-IIFM Tahawut Master Agreement that now is a foundational template for a $3.2 Trillion Industry. She has been the lead lawyer on numerous multinational transactions, skilfully working with both public and private companies.

Priya has throughout her career been a sought-after speaker at prestigious forums and a popular thought leader for her industry.

Priya holds a BA (Hons) MA (Oxon) in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
