# Robert Zappia > Screenwriter, producer, and director across horror, comedy, animation, and kids' entertainment. I'm a USC film grad who's spent three decades writing across just about every kind of story. I wrote Home Improvement's Mother's Day episode, "To Build or Not to Build," which drew 34 million viewers. I came up with the story for Halloween H20 and co-wrote the screenplay, and I later co-wrote Prey for the Devil. In 2004 I was a writer and executive producer on Syfy's 5ive Days to Midnight. In animation, I was Head Writer on Warner Bros.' The Tom and Jerry Show, and I wrote, directed, and produced Christmas Is Here Again. Today I'm Head Writer in the Studio Division at Age of Learning, home of ABCmouse, where I created and wrote every episode of Backpack Adventures, which has more than 50 million YouTube views. I'm also the author of The Legend of Ice Cream Island and the graphic novel Expiration Date. I'm happy to help with story structure, script notes, pitching, writing for animation and kids, or building a career that crosses genres. ## Offerings - Video call (15 min): $150.00 ## Links - [Expert profile](/RobertZappia) - [Avatar](https://media.intro.co/avatars/1843776oNzEcQ1b.jpg) - [Marketplace](/marketplace)
