# Sean Wheeler > Stanford Fellow And Former Management Consultant I am a Stanford University Fellow at the Distinguished Careers Institute, and I currently mentor many Stanford students and start-ups. I am also the Co-Chair of a Special Interest Committee on Sustainability at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, a board member of Stanford Student Enterprises, a Stanford Ecopreneurship judge and LEADx advisor. I was a senior partner in Kearney’s Strategy practice, covering multiple sectors including corporates and family businesses, especially Energy and the Public Sector. I was also the Kearney Managing Partner for Turkey and Black Sea region. Most recently an advisor to a start-up VC firm in Palo Alto. I also have 28 years of international experience where I led high-profile initiatives for leading clients, and I have previously led projects in Middle East, Europe and the Americas. I am particularly well known for developing strategies and leading market investment activities, and for delivering high-impact global transformations to address cost optimization, growth, R&D effectiveness, restructuring and challenging merger integrations. I have contributed more widely via pro bono work, and I recently helped to develop an educational strategy and marketing campaign for a special needs school.
