# Steven Turner

> Founder of Darkhive

Steven Turner is a technical entrepreneur at the intersection of defense, autonomy,  networking, and deep-tech. He co-founded Darkhive—an autonomous-drone company delivering low-cost ISR systems and, as CTO, steered the firm from napkin sketch to fielded platforms while helping raise its $21 million Series A. Steven now serves as an advisor to Darkhive and is incubating new ventures in unmanned systems, edge AI, and dual-use software.

At Darkhive he architected and shipped a full product suite—including Yellowjacket and Obelisk quad-rotors, the Revenant fixed-wing UAS, the FleetForge DevSecOps cloud platform, the RedQueen voice-assistant plug-in for ATAK, and a simulation line—securing multiple Phase II SBIR awards and a $100 million Phase III IDIQ with the U.S. DoD. In total, Steven has helped raise or win more than $100 million in combined venture capital and government contract funding across his career.

Steven advises on defense autonomy, SaaS, and edge computing, and is an inventor on several U.S. patent filings.
