Sunia Pervez is a seasoned retail and merchandising leader with over 15 years of experience driving strategy, scale, and operational excellence across global beauty and lifestyle brands.

As Senior Merchant for Makeup at Sephora, she led a multi-billion-dollar business, managing more than 40 brands across prestige and emerging categories. Sunia partnered directly with founders and CEOs to refine brand positioning, develop distribution strategies, and create growth plans that balanced creativity with commercial success. She played a key role in shaping Sephora’s assortment vision—championing BIPOC-founded and indie brands—and was instrumental in launching Sephora @ Kohl’s, one of the largest retail joint ventures in beauty, now spanning over a thousand stores nationwide.

Before that, as a Global Buyer for Pottery Barn Kids & Teen (Williams-Sonoma Inc.), Sunia led international expansion across markets including the Middle East, India, South Korea, and Australia. She was instrumental in bringing the first Pottery Barn Kids store to India through a partnership with Reliance Brands, and helped drive the success of Alshaya’s flagship store at The Dubai Mall—one of the brand’s largest and most high-profile openings in the region. Her expertise extended beyond product—overseeing assortment localization, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional operational excellence to ensure profitable, scalable growth across diverse retail landscapes.

Throughout her career, Sunia has built and led high-performing teams, created strategies for sustainable brand growth, and advised executives on navigating partnerships, product launches, and global retail expansion.
