There’s the world that exists, and the reality you create. My work is about merging the two — turning ordinary gatherings into unforgettable experiences where people feel seen, connected, and alive.

I’m Terence Leclere, founder and CEO of \#metaforyou, a company specializing in immersive guest experience design through Interpersonal Dynamics Design™️ (“IDD”).

\#️⃣✨ What is IDD?
IDD is the art of shaping human interactions so they feel authentic, validating, and immersive. Just like set designers shape the environment or sound designers shape the atmosphere, we design the human-to-human layer of events — the moments when guests meet staff, interact with performers, or cross a threshold and step into a story.

Through collaborations with top experiential marketing agencies, we’ve helped bring this approach to events for brands like Peacock, HBO, Amazon, Netflix, and more — creating memorable experiences that linger long after the event ends.

I’m also a TEDx speaker, immersive performer, and consultant, featured in Vice, LA Weekly, The Verge, CNET, Broadway World, Buzzfeed, and more.

Here’s what I’ve learned working on 60+ immersive experiences: the thing that makes a guest feel truly immersed isn’t the set, the lighting, or the technology — it’s the moment another human gives them permission to step into the experience. That permission is delivered through the people at your event — your staff, your hosts, your performers. That’s my specialty. I help you design how those people welcome, guide, and connect with your guests so they don’t just attend your event — they feel it. I don’t consult on lighting, scenic, or technical production — I focus entirely on the human interactions that unlock immersion.
