My "human-machine intelligence" journey began as a biomedical scientist in the late 90s and has evolved over two decades as a serial deep-tech founder at the epicentre of the Google Campus London AI ecosystem – the same cohort as DeepMind.
 
After twenty years in the trenches of applied AI and data science, building recommendation systems, language models (long before OpenAI), and knowledge discovery systems, I realised the world didn't need yet more "black-box" machines. It needed Creative Intelligence, powered by people.

I've had the privilege of working with and advising multibillion-dollar brands, including Nestlé, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Agilent Technologies, Google, and Microsoft, as well as the UK Government's AI Office and nonprofit organisations like The UK Sports Institute.
