# Werner Vorster

I founded Vitls out of a need to monitor my son’s vital signs when he suffered from febrile seizures. We’ve developed a unique technology that can be used for remote patient monitoring and are gearing up for the commercial launch of our wearable, Tégo, with hospitals across the US. 

I have been an entrepreneur since 2004, experiencing success as well as failure along the way. In 2018 I moved from South Africa to Houston, TX to grow Vitls. 

Outside of work, I follow a rigorous, 5:30am workout routine 6 days of the week, read and spend time with my 3 boys.
