House Beautiful "Next Wave" designer Tara McCauley is based in Manhattan. Her work is romantically layered, bold yet always comfortable. With history as an anchor, she finds beauty in the juxtaposition of periods and unexpected materials. Taking a collaborative approach, Tara aims to give each client a unique space which feels thoughtfully collected and true to their personal style. 

In addition to residential interiors, Tara brings her fashion forward eye to commercial spaces and is happy to advise on retail, events, and hospitality. Tara has been recognized as a 2023 “Next Wave” designer by House Beautiful Magazine and she recently designed the Primary Bedroom at the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse.
