Co-author of the Natural Products Field Manual. Prior to consulting, was with Stonyfield Farm for 11 years as Vice President, Sales & Corporate Development. Have held marketing positions with Colombo, Inc. and Sperry Top-Sider. Received an MBA from Babson College.
Currently serve as on outside director for EcoFish, Saffron Road, Uncle Matt's Organic, Walden Mutual Bank and King Arthur Baking (Board Chair). Currently serve on the advisory boards of Wildgood, Fancypants Bakery, Pop Art Snacks, Maine Crisps, and Nuttin' Ordinary. Am a former board member of Orgain, Stonyfield Farm, the Specialty Food Assoc, Equal Exchange, Farmwise, FoodState, Cali'Flour Foods and Stirrings. Also on the editorial advisory board of Nutrition Business Journal and on the Board of Advisors of the Boy's and Girl's Club of Lawrence, MA.
Serve as an advisor to Loft Growth Partners, RCV Frontline Fund, Whipstich Capital and is part of The Angel Group.
Also serve as a volunteer mentor with Project Place in Boston, Santander Bank’s Cultivate Small Business Program, The Shift Fellowship, Emerge Network, TIG Brands, Sku and Project Potluck.
Was named one of the "Top 25 Business Builders of the Natural Products Industry for the last 25 years” by Natural Foods Merchandiser Magazine.
Have delivered presentations, seminars, moderated panels and judged pitch slams at leading national and international trade shows and conferences such as Natural Products Expo East & West, The Winter and Summer Fancy Food Shows, BevNet Live, NOSH, Innovest, Naturally Good in Sydney and many others.
Also run full day seminars and networking events on “Becoming a more Effective Sales Manager in the Natural and Specialty Channel", and "Financing your Consumer Products Company".
