About me

David Giani knew he wanted to become a professional chef from a young age. At just 14, he was accepted into the prestigious Aurelio Saffi culinary school in Florence, Italy. While studying, he gained valuable experience by apprenticing in renowned Italian restaurants. After completing his education, David embarked on a successful culinary career. He worked at various restaurants in Italy before moving to California in 1991 to serve as a chef for Spectrum Food Corporation. In 1997, he became a Chef/Partner at "IL Fornaio" in Beverly Hills and later served as the Executive Chef for the Hilton Corporation. David's passion for cooking led him to create his own Tuscany Cuisine cooking style. He opened his restaurant, "Fioretto Trattoria," in 2004 and operated it until 2009. Since then, he has been offering professional culinary consulting services through Chef Design, Inc. David is dedicated to using the freshest ingredients and creating innovative recipes while honoring traditional Florentine cuisine. Most of our experts offer 1:1 video consultations ranging between 15 - 60 minutes. During the booking the process, you will be able to select the duration that makes sense for you.

Our most popular sessions are 30 minutes long, but you can still get a lot done during a 15 minute session.

Yes! People from all over the world will have access to the most in-demand experts. We currently accept all major credit cards in USD.

Many of our experts sell out quickly. You can wait until they unlock more sessions or if they've enabled our Request a Booking feature, you can request a booking by sending them times that work for you at least seven days out. This feature is free to use and you'll only get charged when they confirm the booking (a credit card pre-auth is required).

It depends on the specific expert. Some experts add sessions weekly and others add sessions monthly. We recommend booking as soon as possible to not miss out.

Yes. You can reschedule calls at least 48 hours before the session. For any cancellations, or reschedules within 48 hours of the session, we do charge a fee to compensate the expert for the last minute change. All cancellations or reschedules must happen in our mobile app.

Yes! We're confident that you'll love your first session, but in the rare case that it did not meet your expectations, let us know and we'll make things right.
