About me
Jeff Gomez is a writer, producer, and creator of multimedia story worlds. CEO of Starlight Runner Entertainment, he is a leading expert in the fields of story world development, franchise management, narrative design, corporate narrative, audio drama, and transmedia storytelling. Jeff specializes in the development and extension of entertainment properties, premium brands, and socio-political themes into highly successful multiplatform communications and international campaigns.
Accredited by the Producers Guild of America, Jeff also develops the story worlds of films, TV shows, videogames, toys, books, comics, audio dramas, apps, virtual productions, and theme parks. This deepens engagement and generates expansive participating communities, resulting in mass audience approval, fan loyalty, and increased revenues.
As a producer, Jeff's work in story world development has vastly expanded such blockbuster properties as Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, James Cameron's Avatar, Hasbro's Transformers, Sony Pictures' Spider-Man and Men in Black, Microsoft's Halo, Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and most recently Tsuburaya Productions' global revival of Ultraman with production partners Netflix, Industrial Light & Magic, and Marvel Comics.
Jeff served as a creator for the story worlds of Mattel’s Hot Wheels animated series, the Valiant superhero universe, Hasbro's Magic: The Gathering, Acclaim’s Turok videogames, and Mark Burnett's Lucha Underground TV series. In tandem with Iceberg Theory, Jeff is a creator and producer of the Ultraman Connection fan hub and streaming virtual event series.
Jeff has also developed highly successful campaigns and participative brand narratives for Coca-Cola (Happiness Factory), Pepperidge Farm (Goldfish) and Spartan Race. Other clients include Electronic Arts, Sesame Workshop, Disney Parks & Resorts, and World Vision Canada.
Jeff's proprietary methods have also been applied to educational and geopolitical causes, accelerating progressive social movements and increasing resistance to crime, violence, and corruption. Through applications of his Collective Journey narrative model, Jeff has served as a consultant to United States Special Operations Command and U.S. Department of State. He has helped optimize communications for large NGOs, and participated in addressing crises in the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Australia, and the Middle East North Africa.
Most currently, Jeff Gomez has teamed with Ashley Eckstein to create and executive produce a new multiplatform story world for The Walt Disney Company.
