Joseph D. Solis is a hospitality, wine & spirits and lifestyle expert known for his luxury approach to cocktails, edutainment and experiences.
In addition to a cocktail atelier, Joseph is CEO and Founder of Sol Hospitality Group, a LA and NYC based boutique agency that creates “liquid to lips” experiences. Clients include D’usse/Bacardi, Moet Hennessy, Diageo, William Grant & Sons as well as numerous luxury clients from around the world.
JDS & SHG have curated cocktails and events for the likes of Lebron James, Jay Z & Roc Nation Brunch, Hamilton on Broadway, Rihanna’s Diamond Ball, Shawn Carter Foundation Gala, Lin Manuel Miranda, Hispanic Federation Gala, LL Cool J, Culture Creators, Hennessy national events and most notable soiree for Magic Johnson’s 60th birthday celebration in St. Tropez.
JDS has created his #SIPwithSOLIS platform which raises a glass to Success, Inspiration and Prosperity. In his past contributions to Uptown Magazine, Joseph’s goal was to educate Men of Color on fine wine, spirits and cocktails because “what’s in your glass says a lot about who you are”.
Joseph is passionate about his commitment to diversity, inclusivity and empowerment in the BIPOC and LGBTQ, wine and spirits communities and has created numerous brand advocacy, mentorship and diversity programs for Black and Brown bartenders, ambassadors and industry leaders.
Based on his expertise and contributions to the industry, Joseph has been selected as one of the prestigeous judges for the LA Spirits Awards (laspiritsawards.com), holding a position amongst some of the finest industry experts in the world.
In addition, Joseph is fulfilling his multi-dimensional calling creating content within the personal development, entertainment and lifestyle spaces.
Just scratching the surface, Joseph plans to expand his brand with a book deal in development as well as a multi- tiered #SIPwithSOLIS platform. To fuel his passion, JDS launched his newest venture Maison Solís, a luxury lifestyle brand rooted in cocktail culture. Maison Solís premiered with an artisanal bar essentials line created in Mexico and a fragrance line in Summer 2024.
