About me
Kambiz has designed award winning new retail concepts, flagships, prototypes and retail strategies for AEO Inc, Verizon, Nike, Starbucks, Foot Locker, BCBG, Hervé Leger, Max Azria, Fila Sport, Isaac Mizrahi and a series of independent retailers. In addition, he created new store concepts for Old Navy and experiential marketing projects for Google and Sunrun.
His projects have been featured in design magazines -VSMD, Interiors & Sources, Design:Retail- and USAToday, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Seattle Magazine, the Harvard Business Review, Forbes and the Huffington Post. He has spoken at the Retail Design Institute, Global Shop, Retail Facilities Summit, Retail Design Forum, ELLE's Trend School, Retail Spaces, and was jury member of the Architizer A+ Awards and Retail Design Institute’s 43rd International Store Design Competition.
Kambiz grew up in Switzerland, speaks four languages and is passionate about customer experience, design, sustainability, filmmaking, travel and good coffee.
After graduating from Architecture school, he studied film production design with industry legend Lawrence Paull (Blade Runner, Back to the Future) and won Best Production Design at the Milan Film Festival.
