Vice President | Head of Data Science, AI Recommendation Products, and Business Operations
Resourceful and entrepreneurial Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML Product, and Finance/Operations leader with a proven track record of leveraging data-driven insights to shape strategies and accelerate business growth. Demonstrated experience in building high-performing, diverse teams on a global scale, with a successful history of leading teams of more than 250 professionals while maintaining a relentless focus on agility, delivering substantial impact, and fostering effective cross-functional partnerships.
I currently serve as Vice President of Data Science, Analytics, and AI Recommendations Products at PayPal, where I lead multiple global data teams across various domains, including product data science, marketing data science, consumer insights, business operations, and AI/ML recommendation. I also oversee data teams for Venmo and Honey, two startups acquired by PayPal. My teams are instrumental in creating insights and building AI/ML products that support 70% of PayPal Inc.’s gross revenues and 90% of the company's net revenues. Through this work, I have played a leading role in developing the craft of data science across the company, strengthen data culture and integrating the analytics team into key product and Go-to-Market processes while also building a data science team culture that attracts, excites, and develops exceptional team players.
In prior roles, I revitalized operational analytics and commercial data science functions to support PayPal's sales and customer service teams, achieving a 2X revenue productivity increase for the sales team within 2.5 years through the implementation of scalable algorithmic solutions. I also led the finance organization for PayPal's largest region, NA ($10B in revenue), and partnered closely with the GM for PayPal Americas to shape the growth strategy for the business. I previously served as the Head of SMB Strategy, Operations, and Analytics (COO/CFO of Global SMB segment supporting 10M merchants driving billions in revenues).
Prior to joining PayPal, I played a pivotal role as a founding member of the first-party advertising team at eBay, where I established and led data science, analytics, product strategy, and operations teams for the advertising business, scaling the advertising business to $1B revenue growth.
