I’m Monisha Holmes, a Celebrity Astrologer, Model, and Mental Wellness Coach with a Master of Social Work from Columbia University. Over the years, I’ve merged my extensive background in psychology with my deep passion for astrology, offering a unique lens on self-discovery and personal transformation. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lynn University and a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, where I specialized in Social Enterprise Administration and Contemporary Social Issues.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations—from children facing housing insecurity to Russian Holocaust survivors seeking reparations. My experience spans addiction recovery, immigrant families, LGBTQ+ individuals, and trauma survivors. Through it all, I’ve maintained a focus on healing, using Humanistic psychology and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed practices.
In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I also write for Cosmopolitan.com and the jewelry brand Noir Kala, focusing on the intersection of mental wellness, astrology, and empowerment. My work is about guiding others through profound personal transitions, blending psychological insight with astrological wisdom to help clients achieve their fullest potential.
Purpose of Sessions:
These sessions are designed to provide expert advice, offering personal, meaningful insights that encourage self-reflection and growth. They are not a substitute for therapy with a licensed clinical professional but serve as a complementary experience—an opportunity to explore life’s deeper questions and challenges through an astrological and psychological lens. If you require a higher level of care, I will make that recommendation during our session. Please note, if you are or have been a clinical client of mine, I kindly ask you to refrain from booking a session in adherence to NASW and APA ethical guidelines.
