About me
Rita Vilas-Boas is a global business curator, having had several marketing, strategy and leadership roles in 7 countries across 3 continents. As an entrepreneur, I advise and mentor startups (@agrogrintech, @ignae, @intuitivo @phunk among others). As an executive, I was the Strategy & Marketing Director of Castel Group. Castel Group is #3 worldwide producer of wine and #2 in the African beer and soda market. the marketing arm of the group strategic alliance. Prior to joining Castel Group, I lived in Shanghai for four years leading the Marketing, Communications and Portfolio Strategy for Summergate Fine Wines & Spirits, one of the leading drinks company in China, now a Fortune 500 company. During this period, Summergate was acquired by Australia’s Woolworths Group, a process in which I played a key role, managing relationships with more than 70 suppliers in the portfolio, as well as with the 13 offices across China, all this while overseeing the growth of Concha y Toro to China’s Top 3 imported wine brand. I started my career in the alcohol beverage business in 2009 as the first female Global Marketing Director at Sogrape, Portugal’s largest wine producing company, successfully managing the world renown Mateus and Sandeman brands, as well as developing and growing other craft brands by supporting their growth through more than 100 distributors around the Globe. Prior to joining the drinks industry, I worked for 10 years in FMCG companies such as P&G and L’Oréal, managing brands like Gillette and Duracell, assuming numerous regional and global commercial roles with increasing responsibility and leadership, first in the pharmacy division of L’Oréal for 2 years, and later in P&G based in Madrid and then Geneva with numerous regional and global commercial roles. I was born, raised and educated in Porto, Portugal, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology with a major in Microbiology, a Post-graduation in Bioethics and executive programs in Marketing, Finance and Leadership. I also completed the UK Wines and Spirits Education Trust’s (WSET) advanced course in wines and spirits, passing the Level-3 Advanced Certificate Examination with Merit. Since 1996, I lived and worked in Denmark, Spain, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Angola gaining international experience in her fields of expertise. Most of our experts offer 1:1 video consultations ranging between 15 - 60 minutes. During the booking the process, you will be able to select the duration that makes sense for you.

Our most popular sessions are 30 minutes long, but you can still get a lot done during a 15 minute session.
Yes. In fact, many of our customers book the same expert or a group of experts on a regular basis. There are no limits.

Yes! People from all over the world will have access to the most in-demand experts. We currently accept all major credit cards in USD.
Many of our experts sell out quickly. You can wait until they unlock more sessions or if they've enabled our Request a Booking feature, you can request a booking by sending them times that work for you at least seven days out. This feature is free to use and you'll only get charged when they confirm the booking (a credit card pre-auth is required).
It depends on the specific expert. Some experts add sessions weekly and others add sessions monthly. We recommend booking as soon as possible to not miss out.
Yes. You can reschedule calls at least 48 hours before the session. For any cancellations, or reschedules within 48 hours of the session, we do charge a fee to compensate the expert for the last minute change. All cancellations or reschedules must happen in our mobile app.
Yes! We're confident that you'll love your first session, but in the rare case that it did not meet your expectations, let us know and we'll make things right.
