About me

I am the Founder, CEO and a Managing Partner of Terra Group Holdings, LLC, an opportunistic investment partnership engaged in the creation, acquisition, ownership, management, and operation of game changing private businesses that provide a positive impact on the world, including: Terra Funds’ Terra Impact Fund, Terra Axis Fund, and Terra Green Destinations Fund, are focused on investing in highly sustainable and scalable companies and projects that Terra Axis is involved with, as well as sustainable real estate and luxury ecotourism businesses. Terra Axis and its divisions (see below) deliver value driven solutions in sustainable product design, development and supply chain, and sustainable design engineering, technology systems integration and supply chain that increases efficiency and reduces cost while tackling some of the world’s most pressing economic, environmental, and conservation focused issues in agriculture, communications, energy, healthcare, mobility, water and waste. Terra Accelerator, which guides impact driven companies through complex entrepreneurial issues, including product development, structure, and capital formation. Terra Give, a membership-based technology hub for environmental, conservation, and climate change non-profit organizations. Terra Give Foundation, a fiscal sponsor for eligible foreign entities working on critical environmental and conservation issues, and smaller entities that are unable to take on the expense and administrative oversight necessary to become a legal non-profit in the USA. Terra Conservation Initiative, which protects our environment, our wildlife, and our most vulnerable ecosystems; and Terra Explore Expeditions, which combines training in expeditionary science, photography, ecological science, and wildlife biodiversity to its participants so that they have the skills and opportunities to effectively contribute to critical ecosystems and wildlife conservation initiatives around the world. I also serve on the Board of Advisors for Deep Knowledge Investing, which provides independent and actionable stock ideas and financial market research to sophisticated investors and has a consistent focus on identifying and analyzing those aspects of selected investments the market is missing. I'm a founding member of the Born Free USA Honorary Council, which is dedicated to protecting wildlife; an active member of the Explorers Club, an international, multidisciplinary, professional organizations dedicated to the advancement of field research and scientific exploration; and a member of the National Arts Club, an organization founded in 1898 for the purpose of furthering art and artists in America by fostering educational programs. Additionally, I've spent a significant amount of time working internationally on a multitude of conservation and expeditionary related projects, and am an avid outdoorsman with a passion for mountaineering, sailing, skiing and horseback riding.
