Coaching Women Corporate Leaders, Entrepreneurs & Creators to the Power Seat

About me
InstagramTikTokTwitterLinkedIn

I powered through career plot twists, turns and turbulence in the fiercely competitive world of New York media. Through an alchemy of inherent talent, spiritual practice and science-backed strategy, I cemented myself as of one of the culture’s most intuitive masterminds on helping women get to the power seat in their careers as corporate leaders, creators and entrepreneurs. I’m an award-winning, global media executive, cultural critic and writer. I’m also a longtime essayist who shares insights on the nexus of popular culture, race and gender in America. My work has been published by the most authoritative media brands in the world. But it's my visionary leadership behind the scenes in global media, shaping business strategy and operations for world's leading companies that keeps me on the tipping point of what’s now and next. As a corporate executive, I’ve led transformation and innovation in the legacy Time Warner business—most recently as Group Vice President of Business Operations & Strategy for People, People TV and Entertainment Weekly. I was the former Global Head of Growth for Condé Nast’s W Magazine and Architectural Digest. I served as Vice President of Growth and interim GM at Essence and ran digital strategy at InStyle and Food & Wine. I got my start in media as a reporter and an associate producer at “The Tyra Banks Show”. I’m a multi-year, Webby-award winner for my leadership across the many brands I’ve impacted throughout my career. I’m also a Black Woman in Media honoree, the class of 2014. A Detroit native, I’ve lived between New York and Los Angeles for nearly 20 years. I studied throughout London, Paris, Scotland and South Africa, ultimately earning an undergraduate degree in History, English and Black Diasporic Studies at Michigan State University and a Master’s in Journalism from New York University. During your 1:1 session with me, you’ll receive personalized problem-solving with proven industry insights and deeply honest and intuitive wisdom. You’ll leave your session empowered with a self-help roadmap so you can coach yourself the next time you feel stuck.
